Fee-Only Financial Planning
A plan that connects each decision.
Your goal-based plan is the foundation for everything else: how much to
save, how to invest, what to safeguard, and how to balance living well
today with building for tomorrow.
Financial stress comes from not having a plan.
When the pieces of your financial life aren’t connected, it’s hard to know if you’re
on track. A real plan replaces guesswork with direction.

Financial planning questions, answered.
What does a financial advisor do?
A: A financial advisor helps you organize your finances, set goals, and make coordinated decisions about saving, investing, taxes, retirement, and more. At Astoria, your advisor builds a goal-based plan and acts as an ongoing partner, not a product salesperson.
What is fee-only financial planning?
A: Fee-only means we’re paid directly by you, never through commissions or product sales. That removes the hidden incentives that can shape advice, so our guidance is accountable only to you.
How is financial planning different from investment management?
A: Investment management is how your money is invested. Financial planning is the bigger picture that guides those investments, including your goals, taxes, cash flow, and timeline. The two work together, and your plan comes first.
Do I need a certain amount of money to start?
A: We don’t publish a hard minimum. What matters more is your situation and your capacity to save and invest. Our Compass level is designed for clients who are earlier in the journey.
How often will we meet?
A: Every client gets an annual plan update and access to our team as needed. Depending on your relationship model and needs, there are various touchpoints and meetings throughout the year.
