Filing a return reports the past. We look ahead with year-round strategies designed
to minimize your taxes over time.
Taxes are one of your largest lifetime expenses.

Tax planning questions, answered.
What is proactive tax planning?
A: It’s looking ahead to manage your tax exposure throughout the year, using strategies like loss harvesting, Roth conversions, and bracket management, rather than only reacting at tax time.
Do you prepare my tax return?
A: We don’t file returns. We coordinate directly with your CPA so your investment and planning decisions are tax-smart, and your tax preparer has what they need.
Can tax planning really make a difference?
A: Over time, yes. Decisions about when to realize gains, how to sequence withdrawals, and where to hold assets can have a significant effect on minimizing taxes.
I have stock options and RSUs. Can you help?
A: Yes. Equity compensation creates timing and concentration decisions with real tax consequences. We help you plan around them rather than react to them.
What if I don't have a CPA?
A: That’s not a problem. If you’d like, we’re happy to introduce you to a trusted CPA from our professional network who can assist with tax preparation and more complex tax matters. If you prepare your own tax return, we’ll typically ask for a copy each year so we can incorporate it into your financial planning. While we don’t prepare tax returns or provide formal tax advice, we do help identify planning opportunities, explain how financial decisions may affect your taxes, and coordinate with your tax professional when appropriate.
