Associate Client Advisor
My path into financial planning wasn’t a traditional one. Before joining Astoria Strategic Wealth, I spent ten years as a high school math teacher. I loved helping students build confidence by breaking down complex concepts into something approachable and practical. Over time, I realized those same skills translated naturally to personal finance, where many people simply need someone who can make complex financial topics easier to understand.
As I became more interested in financial planning, I realized what drew me to the profession wasn’t just the numbers. It was the people. I love getting to know clients, learning about what matters most to them, and building lasting relationships as they navigate life’s biggest milestones. Every family has a unique story, and I find it incredibly rewarding to help people make financial decisions that align with their values and goals. Joining Astoria Strategic Wealth allowed me to combine my passion for education with the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
My own life has also reinforced just how valuable comprehensive financial planning can be. Like many people, I’ve experienced unexpected twists and turns that reminded me why it’s so important to have the less exciting pieces of a financial plan in place, from an emergency fund and life insurance to estate planning documents. While those conversations aren’t always easy, they can make all the difference when life doesn’t go according to plan. My goal is to help clients prepare for both the expected and the unexpected so they can move forward with confidence, knowing they have a trusted partner by their side.
I grew up in Massachusetts and now live in Providence, Rhode Island. One of the most memorable chapters of my life was living and teaching in Rome, Italy for two years with my husband. We were married there before returning to the United States. Today our family includes our Cavapoo, Luce, and our daughter, Maisie, who keeps us smiling and laughing every day.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family, playing pickleball, strength training, traveling whenever we can, or exploring New England with Luce and Maisie. Becoming a wife, a mom, and a financial planner has only strengthened my belief that financial planning is about understanding what matters most to people, building relationships that last, and helping families navigate every stage of life with clarity, confidence, and peace of mind.
One team, in your corner.
Every client is supported by a team of three: a primary advisor, an associate
advisor, and a backup.
See if Astoria is the right fit.
The best way to understand how we work is a conversation. We’ll listen
first, then tell you honestly whether we can help.
