There is tremendous value in knowing that your advisor is concerned solely with your best interests and is qualified to provide skilled financial guidance. I experienced this first-hand when my wife, Lauren, and I were looking to get started on the right financial track and met with a fee-only CFP® professional. So moved by the positive impact that experience had on our lives, I pursued the CFP® education myself so that I could help others in the same manner we had been helped.

A native Georgian, I attended Auburn University and graduated with a degree in Business Administration supplemented by attaining my FAA Commercial Pilot/Multi-Engine Certificate. After deciding to pursue a career in financial planning, I completed the Financial Planning Certificate Program through the University of Texas.

As Astoria Strategic Wealth’s first leadership team “millennial”, I am enjoying both learning from those that have gone before me as well as the enthusiasm and humility with which our team embraces change to improve our service, ourselves and our communities.

Lauren and I have two young children, Georgia Ruth and David. Lauren is a former teacher turned stay-at-home Mom and is a native Austinite. We both enjoy spending time with our family and friends and are active in our community.
